Gritty Bills too Much for Patriots

On September 25, 2011, the 2-0 Bills hosted the 2-0 Patriots with only one thing on their minds, beat the Patriots and show the rest of the NFL that they were for real. Unfortunately it looked like it was going to be an ugly day as the Patriots started the game with 21 unanswered points. But the Bills never quit and responded with 17 of their own unanswered points in the 2nd and 3rd quarters. After trailing 21-0, the Bills outscored the Patriots by a score of 34-10. During the game, the Bills were able to intercept 4 of Tom Brady’s passes, matching his total number of interceptions that he had last season. In addition to the Bills defense refusing to give up, Fitzpatrick threw for a whopping 369 yards and 2 touchdowns. The Bills are now leading the AFC East at 3-0, and have a weak opponent this week, the Bengals. But don’t sleep on Dalton, Green, and Benson, the Bengals will score if the Bills don’t show up ready to play.
