Are the Bills getting set up for a loss? The Browns are your typical trap game. They are 0-2 but have lost to the 2-0 Eagles and the 1-1 Bengals by a combined eight points.
The Bills travel to Cleveland with a 1-1 record. In two games the Bills have two performances that are total opposites. After not showing up in week 1, the Bills handled their business in their home opener against the Chiefs.
On offense, look for the Bills to lean on C.J. Spiller. Spiller as the Browns have allowed 115 rushing yards a game (17th in the NFL). Spiller has taken advantage of is new starter role rushing for 292 yards and three touchdowns. The Browns will key in on Spiller and most likely will try to have the Bills throw. Last week, the Bills failed to have a receiver catch more than two passes as they controlled the game on the ground.
Defensively, the Bills will try to make rookie quarterback Brandon Weeden as uncomfortable as possible. Weeden who improved his poor four interception week 1 start with a week 2 start where he recorded 322 yards passing and two touchdowns. But to force Weeden to throw, the Bills have to stop rookie running back Trent Richardson. Richardson had a break out game in a week 2 loss against the Bengals. Richardson rushed for 109 yards and a touchdown and caught four passes for 36 yards and a touchdown.
Outcome: While it’s never easy to go into Cleveland and earn a win against a Browns team that has played tough this season , I think the Bills will win this game 28-10. C.J. Spiller will have another good game and Stevie Johnson will have two touchdown catches in the win.
