Jarius Byrd had two interceptions in the Buffalo Bills week six battle against the Arizona Cardinals, but it was his second interception that helped to put the Bills in a prime position to end the game in overtime via a Rian Lindell 25-yard field goal. It was a great game at the University of Phoenix Stadium that had the lead going back and forth between the Bills and Cardinals, and eventually ended up in overtime following a 61-yard field goal made by the Cardinals kicker, Jay Feeley.
One thing we said prior to the game was that the Cardinals had a solid defense and the Bills had to avoid turning the ball over. However, on the first play of the game, Fred Jackson coughed the ball up and it was recovered by William Gay of the Cardinals. After that turnover, the Bills only turned it over one more time and that was the result of a Brad Smith wildcat play gone wrong, but it did result in a Cardinals field goal to end the first half. Other than those two turnovers, the Bills win was a result of a great defensive effort and C.J. Spiller and Fred Jackson combining for 183 of the Bills 306 yards and scoring the Bills only touchdowns of the game.
The Bills are now in a four way tie in the AFC East, all the teams are 3-3 and next week the Buffalo Bills will be hosting the Tennessee Titans at 1:00pm EST. Check back with 360Bills for the latest Buffalo Bills news and updates regarding their upcoming game.
